Queen's Park Food Festival Glasgow

We‘re bringing together a mix of both established names and emerging chefs from across the region to perform live chef demos. Settle in and follow along as some of Glasgow’s leading cooks share their skills, techniques and the little details that make a dish sing.

Cookery Theatre Line-up

Delivered in partnership with host Peter McKenna, Head Chef and Director of Bistro Eleven Fifty Five, the programme brings together 11 different experts from critically-acclaimed establishments across the region.

Throughout the weekend, you can explore an eclectic mix of international flavours and local classics, guided by MasterChef and Great British Menu competitors, leading restaurant owners, and award-winning Head Chefs.

Stephen Crawford – Kelvingrove Café 

Head Chef of both Kelvingrove Café and Bar and Grill Dani, Stephen Crawford has spent the last 18 years building his diverse portfolio of culinary skills, focusing on simple, honest food that champions fresh Scottish produce.

Finn Steele-Perkins – Corner Shop Wine Bar & Restaurant

Finn Steele-Perkins is the creative spark behind the modern, refined dining experience at Corner Shop in Glasgow, leaning into the bold, vibrant flavours of Southern Spain, Basque and Catalan cuisine. Utilising years’ of experience at Michelin Guide-recommended establishments, Finn’s food celebrates seasonality, simplicity, and depth of flavour.

Justin Galea – The Kirkmichael Arms

Justin Galea is the Chef Patron responsible for re-opening the Michelin Guide-listed Kirckmichael Arms in Ayrshire, a restaurant and bar that celebrates the craftsmanship, creativity and natural larder of Scotland.

Elements Restaurant, Glasgow

Elements is an elegant, Michelin Guide-recommended fine-dining experience in the heart of Glasgow, renowned for both their dedication to local producers and creative use of global flavours.

Ajay Kumar – Swadish by Ajay Kumar 

Glasgow-based Chef Ajay Kumar is the innovative mind behind Swadish, an award-winning, AA Rosette-honoured Indian fine dining establishment in Glasgow. Also a Great British Menu finalist, Ajay has guided Swadish to widespread recognition, critically-acclaimed for blending Indian gastronomy with seasonal Scottish ingredients.

Scott Murray – Eleven Fifty Five

Sous Chef Scott Murray helps create the polished culinary journey at Bistro Eleven Fifty Five, a warm, welcoming neighbourhood bistro with a passion for bold flavours, global influences, and the rich culinary tradition of Glasgow.

Graeme Cheevers – Unalome / Loma by Graeme Cheevers

Creator of the Michelin-Starred Unalome, and sister restaurant Loma on Loch Lomond, Graeme Cheevers’ long list of accolades has established him as one of the brightest restaurateurs in the region. Each directed under Graeme’s sustainable, farm-to-fork ethos, both establishments deliver precise, ingredient-focused dishes rooted in the finest culinary techniques.

Nick Watkins – El Perro Negro

Managing Director and Founder of El Perro Negro in Glasgow, Nick Watkins is an expert in using grass-fed, dry aged beef to create flavour-packed burgers. Three time winner of the National Burger Award, Nick has led the establishment to becoming a local-favourite across both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
